The Sun burns with an intense, golden passion.
He pours his heart into the vast, empty sky.
Yet, his blinding fire would be meaningless,
if it only fell upon the void, unseen and unreturned.
So comes the gentle moon,
A soft, silver mirror waiting in the deep velvet night.
She does not possess her own light.
Instead, she catches his fierce rays
and softens them into grace.
He is the wild, roaring day.
She is the gentle, reflective night.
Without her to hold his brilliance and show it to the dark,
his warmth would be a wasted, forgotten flame.
Their Love is a cosmic dance
of giving and receiving.
He shines so that she may glow.
She glows so that his life is never spent in vain.
