The heavy crowns that Maday wore,
Are scattered on the bedroom floor.
She spent her youth in serious grace,
A woman’s mind, a child’s face.
But hidden deep within her chest,
The quiet memories found their rest—
Of summer days and youthful sparks,
And chasing fireflies in the parks.
The love we shared when life was small,
Became the strongest wall of all.
It kept her safe, a sacred spark,
To guide her through the growing dark.
And now the armor falls away,
To reveal the girl of yesterday,
Who looks at me with softened eyes,
Beneath the vast and open skies.
No longer forced to run ahead,
She walks the paths where children tread.
With open hands and lighter stride,
She places worry to the side.
For Maday has returned at last,
To heal the fragments of the past,
And in my arms, she finds the key,
To live again, untamed and free.
